Karl Anthony More than 2-million people have seen Karl Anthony perform live! Full-time touring is the career path Anthony has chosen to get his music out in the world. Performing as many as 220 shows each year, he rarely turns down a chance for an audience. One of the highlights of Karl Anthony’s career was his invitation to perform in Moscow for Mr. and Mrs. Gorbachev in the Kremlin before the wall came down—even after he had organized an unauthorized concert with several hundred teenagers on Red Square. Karl was also nearly arrested in China for an impromptu performance on Tianemen Square shortly after the Tianemen Square tragedy. Another highlight--fulfilling a dream to sing on the stage of the Sydney Opera House by convincing a tour guide to allow him to demonstrate the theater’s fabulous acoustics by entertaining the tour groups during the day. Always looking for an opportunity to spread the message of goodwill through his music, Karl has convinced several thousand teenagers across America to postpone high school for a couple of weeks and travel with him to places including the former Soviet Union, Mainland China, Australia, and Central America. Karl Anthony’s strong and distinctive voice drives his social action pop style.  Although he truly defies labeling, his sound has been described as a cross between Sting, Steely Dan and James Taylor.  His original music has a social conscience and his always-poignant lyrics are moving and often thought-provoking. Anthony is a prolific composer and lyricist with a repertoire of 300 original songs. Karl Anthony’s new CD "All of Us" features industry veterans such as drummer Vinnie Colaiuta, whose credits include Frank Zappa, Sting, Joni Mitchell and Madonna.  Bass player Jimmy Johnson also performs on the recording and is currently on tour with James Taylor and has worked with Reba McIntyre, Neil Diamond, Paul Simon, Elton John and The Rolling Stones.  Alex Acuna is on percussion and has worked with the likes of Elvis Presley, U2 and Michael Jackson.
