Let the universe celebrate itself through you. Self-love is a simple invitation to remember your own divinity. The more willing you are to feel love for yourself (just as you are) the sooner you create life circumstances that reflect that energy. If we don't love ourselves and know our own divinity we canâ€™t see it in one another. We are encouraged to be a 'positive onlooker of life' and bring forth our loving and lovely qualities so that we come from the consciousness of our hearts. Nothing is permanently satisfying. In fact, nothing is permanently anything. Without exception, everything is in a constant state of change. Built into everything is a life span. Things pass through phases. We create a personal hell for ourselves when we get stuck in trying to control things so that they stay the same. Identifying ourselves as an essential part of the divine flow of the Universe reminds us that regardless of the changes going on around us, we can feel secure knowing God doesnâ€™t come and go. We can rest easy knowing that there is no need to hold on to anything in life. Our greatness is the spark of divinity that is the truth of who we really are. Each and every one of us is great; thereâ€™s something magnificent about us. We are the perfection of life itself. Everyone of us has same essence of Being because we share the same 'life force'. No one is excluded; greatness is not restricted. Our greatness can and does show up differently in our humanness because each of us is a unique expression of the divine. Mother’s Day is the perfect time to express gratitude for the gift of precious human birth. Not every family setting reflects the image of television’s Brady Bunch or Beaver Clever. In fact, 40% of babies born in America today are born into single parent settings. By necessity and through grace, many have been nurtured, challenged and mentored by ‘Mothers of Invention’. It truly does take a village to facilitate each of our blossoming forth in the world. We are called to recognize our interdependence ~ our inter beingness ~ in the intricate living web of life, all of which is sacred. Everyone has a unique and important contribution to give to the world. Our most refined spiritual question is, “How can I help?”
