- Father Leo Booth is an internationally acclaimed author, lecturer, and trainer on all aspects of spirituality and recovery. He specializes in the areas of depression, addictions, compulsive behaviors, and low self-esteem. He is currently the Executive Director of Renaissance Malibu in Malibu, California.
A Certified Addictions Counselor, a Certified Eating Disorders Counselor, a California Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor, and also a National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor Approved Education Provider, Father Leo speaks at many National and International conferences and churches of all denominations. In addition to specific in-services and lectures on religious addiction and abuse, Father Leo presents to a variety of organizations and institutions, workshops, lectures, and training on a broad spectrum of issues.
Father Leo writes regularly in recovery newspapers and magazines across the United States and is the author of ten publications, including, Say Yes to Your Sexual Healing, Say Yes to Your Life, Say Yes to Your Spirit, The Wisdom of Letting Go and others. Father Leo has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and other contemporary programs.
